- I've decided to try my hand at drawing and painting since retiring from teaching a special ed class. Instead of e-mailing pictures back and forth with friends, I decided a blog was a more efficient way to share my art projects. Most of the graphite drawings and pastels were drawing class assignments. I've always loved watercolors, however, and started painting them in February, 2009 when I became active in an internet group.
